I am really having fun making Christmas presents this year. I decided to make a mermaid doll for my cute little niece. I love how she turned out. I don't know what it is, but I really like mermaids a lot right now... maybe it is because I have seen a lot of cute mermaid stuff lately?

Autumn Table Runner
I love Autumn. It is probably my favorite time of year and I am starting to get really excited for changing leaves and cool crisp air. I loved these fabrics and thought they would be pretty for a table runner.

Baby Bibs and a Christmas Elf
I have a lot of friends who are expecting babies soon so I thought I would make some fun bibs. I think they turned out cute.
I embroidered this Christmas Elf. I had a lot of fun with this, but now I don't know what to do with it. Any ideas? Should I frame it, sew it to a decorative pillow...?

Rag Dolls and Mermaid Cake
I have been busy planning birthday parties for my two daughters, whose birthdays are only 5 days apart. I have been wanting to make rag dolls for my girls for a long time and I finally got around to it. Oh it was so much fun to make these. I am sure I will be whipping out a few more.
My daughters had a "Mermaid" theme party and this is what I came up with for the cake. My girls LOVED it!

Whimsical Embroidery and Cute Pin Cushion
I found this colorful tank at Target on clearance for an awesome price of 75 cents, however, it was a little plain so I decided it needed a cheerful owl embroidered on it. What do you think?
Here is a closer look. I love how it turned out... just makes me smile.
I saw this idea somewhere, wish I remembered where, but I was in need of a pin cushion so I decided to make one... I have never had one. I thought the idea of a little tree stump was so fun. I can't believe I haven't made one before. Enjoy!

Dish Towel Curtains
I found these dish towels about a month ago and they match perfectly with our paint color and decor so I decided that I needed to make some curtains for our kitchen with them. This picture isn't very good and doesn't show them very clearly, but I really like how they turned out.

apron
I don't really know how to sew, but I have always wanted to learn. I got a pattern for this apron for Christmas and look, it actually turned out pretty good!
