I love Autumn. It is probably my favorite time of year and I am starting to get really excited for changing leaves and cool crisp air. I loved these fabrics and thought they would be pretty for a table runner.

Happy Jack-o-lanterns
I had two of my sisters-in-law over to craft yesterday... which was so fun to craft and chat at the same time. We painted these fun paper clay jack-o-lanterns for Halloween decorations. I pre-made them before hand so that the paper clay would have time to dry.
Look how cute they all look together! In order: Chelsey, mine, Alexis
Thanks for the fun afternoon of crafting girls. Let's do it again soon!

Random Craft Projects
I am starting to make some Halloween ornaments for my Halloween tree... I am having so much fun. Here is my crazy jack-o'lantern.Here is a girly fabric banner that I will probably be posting in my etsy shop soon. It is perfect for a little girls' room.
Here it is again draped across my daughter's headboard.
Another banner. This time a Thanksgiving one strung across a mirror. I am having so much fun making these.

Vintage Valentine Hanging Heart
As soon as Christmas is over I start thinking about Valentine's Day. I love this holiday... it seems to make the winter more cheerful. I love red, pink and glitter and I love cinnamon and candy conversation hearts and decorating heart-shaped sugar cookies with my daughters. So fun.
Here is a project I made last week. Enjoy!

Vintage Glitter Paper Ornaments
I found some free clip art , printed it out, and added some glitter. They were really easy to make and I used stuff that I already had at home.

Advent Calendar
My friend and I got together to make these advent calendars out of mini muffin tins. We covered sheets of magnets with fun decorative papers and stickers and embellishments. The magnets are just big enough to cover the muffin holes. We are planning on hiding fun treats and messages for each day of the holidays. Some days we will read Christmas stories to our kids and other days we will bake sugar cookies or sing fun songs. Enjoy!

skull potato stamps
I saw this idea on Martha Stewart and wanted to give it a try with my daughter and her cousin. I carved the skull into the potato for them and they each got to decorate their own spooky mini canvas bag to fill with treats. So fun. Enjoy! The finished bag.

halloween tree display
This is what I came up with to display my Halloween ornaments for the Oh Sweet Sadie Fall Show. I found some branches and painted them black. I think it turned out pretty good, what do you all think? I guess if none of these sell, I have an awesome Halloween decoration for my house!
FYI: I am participating in the second show which is the 26 & 27 of September.

Keeping Busy
First of all, thanks to everyone who tried to vote for me... the vote button somehow was removed and no one was able to vote... oh well.
Anyway, I have been busy getting ready for the "Oh, Sweet Sadie" Fall show that I will be participating in. I love this time of year and have been having so much fun making fun Halloween and Holiday ornaments and decorations. Here are some that I have made so far. Enjoy!
